Words you hear, from movies, TV's
Words that make you feel
Imagining that someone would
Sweep you off your feet
Say words that tears you apart
Slows every beat of your heart

Gone home. No one's there
To hold you tight, to wish you good night
A drop of clear salty liquid falling from your eyes
Dreaming that a star would stop it and wipe them dry

Standing here, staring there, looking by the window
Couples across the street, loving each other
Curiosity, jealousy, creeps behind
Gripping your heart, squeezing your soul

Walk away. Time seems so long.
Patiently looking, constantly wishing
Keep my mind at ease
Still loneliness creeps

Reminds me of everything you notice more after you have broken up with someone. TV, radio, etc. Made me sick. You'll get your turn. I strongly believe there is someone for everyone. Nice poem. I think it is the first one of yours I have read. Definetly evoked some emotions.

I can identify with that Crying

AS the others have said, there is someone out there, in the meantime it can get lonely but don't let it get the best of you. . . and I've learned it is best to find happiness on your own, then go into a relationship, not go into a relationship to be happy..so as long as you can be happy then you have nothing to worry about.

And hey..don't settle..

your turn will come:) (Smile) so many times in fact that you will probably forget that u ever wrote this poem. thats what i tell myself on those lonely valentines. i know better than to look out that window or stare too long at that couple that passes me by, because i know what will happen next. i'll feel miserable. these aren't mere words like tobie says. these are the thoughts taken from so many peoples minds yesterday that its painful to think about it. but i agree with mr-eric: my mission is to find happiness so i can then share it with the one i love:) (Smile) and i'm definately not savin it for V-day:p (Razz)
