My Web Cam in DA

Ok, first of all I'd like to apologize to those folks who stared at the "WEB Cam" here in deviantART for so long and thought of sending me a private message or posted a comment on my page asking if the Web Cam is REAL. Honestly, I kind of laugh every time I get a message then I sigh. I'm a sarcastic person. I even try to make fun of my own brother as my term of endearment to him. *riiiiight*

It's not real.

The image on the web cam section is not real, it's a stock photo of a bathroom that I manipulated to make it look like it's from a security camera. Then, I added a few noise that changes every second to give the effect that it's "somewhat" moving. I guess with the red dot that keeps blinking right next to the word "LIVE" made it more believable.

Anyway, don't believe everything that you read and see on the internet... just like those news spreading out people loosing their job because of that effing facebook.

I didn't realize that my website got featured in CSSclip after I changed my layout. Makes me think of putting it back. Then again, I almost always never go back to my old designs.

Nothing is permanent, I guess.

and a little bit of art history...

I wonder if people knows who Alphones Mucha is. Mucha is the one of the people who revolutionized art or rather started the Art Nouveau style back then...

if you look at some of the art work that are going around in deviant art, you'd see and know people who got influenced by him. My brother said that even Adam Hues is also one of those people got inspired by art nouveau.

If you think about it, Art Nouveau means New art. It started 1890–1905... the turning point of the 20th Century. It's already one century passed that era and yet we still use the style. New art is no longer new.

I'm not saying that it's a bad thing.. heck, some of my artworks are inspired by Mucha and all Art Nouveau style... I'm just not good at executing what is in my head.
